The event will feature invited lectures by Perry Adebar (UBC), Gail Atkinson (Western University), Upul Atukorala (WSP), Alan Hull (USA), Carlos Molina Hutt (UBC), Ribu Dhakal (UBC), Saqib Khan (Spannovation), Joe Quinn (Klohn Crippen Berger), Bob Schubak (BC Hydro), Fei Tong (UNBC), and Paul Wilson (Thurber). A panel discussion will explore the challenges of designing earthquake-resilient structures, such as buildings, bridges, dams, and tailings storage facilities.
